You’ve arrived at your favorite sneaker blog, Six Figure Sneakerhead. The topic of discussion is the Bape x Undefeated x Adidas ZX 8000. The shoes will be hitting web stores on Saturday, November 14th for $140.

Firstly I wanted to give you a reminder that here at SFS is the best place to gain valuable info about reselling and updates on all sneaker and streetwear releases. There’s a reason why our Playbook is so highly revered! Check out some of the great things people are saying in reviews of our book.

Feel free to skip to Release Info and Conclusion now to get the need to know details for this release. Next we’ll be going over some similar shoes from the past.

Our fabled triple collab we’re speaking about today isn’t the first of its kind. Let’s go back and take a look at some gems from the past.

In 2013 Bape, Undefeated, and Adidas worked on another ZX shoe – the 5000. Donning red, white, and blue stripes on a different-than-normal style camo upper makes this sneaker a great addition to anyone’s collection. Not to mention one that’s not seen on feet often. Sales for these are typically in the $300 ballpark.

Another pair of shoes that shook the game up were the NMD R1’s from Bape and Adidas. Remember how hot the NMD’s were not too long ago? Well they certainly capitalized on the hype in 2016 making an olive and black camo tandem. You can find these anywhere from $500 to $900 depending on your size.

The last distant relative we’ll talk about is the Ultraboost duo from 2019. Again draped in the two sets of camo colorways, the black midsole’d Ultraboost was quite the hit and came in the midst of a large American football capsule including cleats, jerseys, and even official helmets. Check ’em out.

One that’s always been on my radar personally is the Superstar from Bape, Undefeated, and Adidas of 2015. Such a clean, classic shoe.

The Looks

The latest sneaker for the Adidas A-ZX series is a ZX 8000 designed in collaboration with Bape and Undefeated.

Official images have been revealed of the three-way sneaker collab showing Bape’s trademark black camo on the mesh parts of the upper which are paired with suede overlays and a plastic heel counter. Undefeated’s presence is seen with gold branding on the eyestay as well as its signature five-strike logo embroidered on the heel. Finishing off the look is a contrasting white midsole and a striking gum outsole.

Conclusion and Resale Anticipation

This is a great shoe for reselling in November! I think I fits the sneaker scene very well, doesn’t feel like a shoe that’s out of place or would be received well at a different time.

Since it appears the green pair will be more exclusive, it of course will sell at a higher premium. Regardless, both colorways are a nice play. Mid-range sizes should do well for this ZX.

Best of luck to everyone!
