Nike Air Max 90| “Spruce Aura”
Tinker Hatfield was originally a corporate architect for Nike. When he shifted to designing sneakers, Hatfield thought of the Pompidou Center in Paris which was the main inspiration behind the Air Max 1.
It also later inspired the Air Max 90 which was just as much of a success and introduced Nike into other regions. For example, the first widely recognized sneaker in Russia was the Air Max 90. Other European consumers also adopted the Air Max 90 and it became a best seller within the region.
In the UK for example, an exclusive release made its way to the market in 1991 which was one of the original few colorways. Releasing along side the famous “Infrared” but rarely retroed, this colorway is high in demand ever since it retroed in 2008.
Although we’ve seen many popular AM90 colorways in 2020 alone such as the Air Max 90 Infrared 2020, a “Spruce Lime” colorway had still yet to re-release, until now.

This Nike Air Max 90 and 1 hybrid released back in 2018 for $140 per pair. Although not a true retro of the Spruce Lime Air Max 90, these kicks still feature very similar colortones.
A white/wolf grey leather upper is contrasted by dark green mudguards and a “Lime Blast” cropped Swoosh. White and grey midsoles with multicolored outsoles finish off the design.
The average selling price on StockX is currently just $90 which isn’t great for resellers. I’d say the Nike Air Max 90 Spruce Lime 2020 will likely have resale similar to its 2008 predecessor which is selling for around $220 on eBay.

Colorway: White/Hot Lime-Spruce-Grey Fog
This Nike Air Max 90 “Hot Lime” AKA “Spruce Lime”, although monikered similarly to the Air Max 1 Limeade, looks almost identical to the original featuring a similar build and colortones.
The entire sneaker features a blast of fresh colors including dark teal on the mudguards, hot lime cropped Swooshes and teal “Nike” branding on the tongue and heel tabs. The insoles feature a Hot Lime color with “International” and “Nike” branding.
A white/grey midsole and a lime Air Unit and a grey/teal outsole complete the look
Estimated Resell Value
I believe these sneakers will sell out as its a retro of a very anticipated OG colorway. I also believe there may be some profits by reselling these sneakers.
Using my estimated resell predictions, you can probably make around $30 in profits per sneaker. The resale prices may be higher depending on how much fans value this new retro.
