Nike Dunk Low Be True To Your School History
Sneaker News

The Nike Dunk was designed by Peter Moore in 1985 and changed sneaker culture forever.

As a project of a new aspiring design team, the Dunk Low turned out to be a masterpiece that did more than just what it was made for. The Dunks were made for basketball, however, saw success elsewhere when skateboarders found them to be perfect for what they needed. This would, later on, lead to the creation of Nike SB in 2002.

The Dunk Low, however, also turned into a lifestyle sneaker, something fans would wear to style up their outfits. To increase their popularity, Peter Moore came up with a genius way to utilize the rise in basketball in the ’80s.

Nike’s famous campaign “Be True To Your School” included over 12 university-themed Nike Dunk releases. The partnered schools included UNLV, Kentucky, Syracuse, and of course, the University of Michigan.

In 2020, Nike released the Kentucky/Syracuse Dunks and later on, a Dunk High in the University of Michigan’s color scheme. Then in 2021, Nike continued its trend of partnering up with Universities by releasing the Dunk Low Sail Coast and the Dunk Low UNLV.

Now, the Swoosh is back for another take on the Nike Dunk Low Michigan State. To estimate its resale, let’s head over to StockX.

Estimated Resell

These sneakers will most likely sell out very fast and they’ll be difficult to grab. Even the smaller sizes are expected to sell out and do very well in the secondary markets.
