What’s going on everyone? Things are heating up. I just learned where I live had its hottest May on record. We’re onto June now so things are only getting hotter. Two words people. Summer Vibes. That’s what we’re going to talk about today. While this is labeled as a women’s shoe, hang tight fellas it’s fairly unisex looking and you can still probably get your size if you’re a men’s 10.5 or under.

Today we’re coming to you to broadcast the release of the Women’s Nike React Vision in the “Pale Ivory” color way. You’ll be able to find the shoes on Nike.com on June 12th for $140.

A Closer Look

The Nike React Vision is a distinct fusion of art and innovation. Featuring richly textured fabrics paired with Nike React cushioning, this silhouette creates a soft landing for every step.

The Nike React Vision features a new look for Nike React cushioning, designed and tested with data sourced from athletes all around the globe. This Vision delivers the maximum comfort you expect from React.

The Nike WMNS React Vision “Pale Ivory” is an appropriate summer silhouette and it’s debuting next week. Donning cream mesh uppers, the low-top model is accentuated with bursts of colors that include red, orange, and volt on the eyestay, eyelets, and the entire heel counter unit. Black outlined Swooshes on the side panels, followed by a white React sole with smoke grey detailing on the outsole tops off the style.

More from React and the Nike Catalog – Past and Present

To me, this shoe is less about being an absolute market disruptor, and more catering to the different Nike consumers and making another reliable sneaker in their lineup.

Cushioning technology has always been a big part of the game. There’s no telling what does on in research and development divisions for the giants like Nike and Adidas. It’s ever so crucial to get to market first with good tech.

The React cushioning from Nike was debuted in 2017 on the Hyperdunk silhouette. Not until 2018 did it really flood the market. The Epic React runner got astounding reviews and held up well to the likes of Ultra Boosts from Adidas. Since then, we’ve seen new popular shoes like the React Element 87 and 55, Air Max React 270, React IPSA, Infinity React, and much more. The tech is even being used to upgrade classics like the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1.

All in all, this is a solid addition to Nike’s ever-growing collection of lifestyle sneakers.

Resale Anticipation

The Nike React Vision has hit the market for a little while now. We’re even seeing some colorways on sale if you log on to the Nike webstore or any other footwear retailers you like. This indicates that the Pale Ivory iteration will probably not be a super hot reselling shoe… and that’s okay. If you were expecting these sneakers to fly off the shelves and be a money maker, you’re sadly mistaken. But this doesn’t mean it’s a whack shoe. On the contrary actually.

You can’t go wrong with a shoe like this that perfectly fits into your summer repertoire. You’ll be able to casually run, do a gym workout, hit the beach or anything in between. The comfort and technology centered around the React Vision is elite and won’t leave you with any buyer’s regret.

This is more than just putting out bangers and resell icons. We may look back on this period of Nike and say they had a lot going for them. After all, shoes like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Max 1 sat on shelves when they first released, only to have a cult following decades later.

With all that being said, I wouldn’t advise going after these for a flip but if they’re a sneaker you’d like to add to your personal collection and put straight on feet, that’s a great choice.
