First up, the Nike SB Dunk Low Crater
Nike’s innovation continues to be the topic of conversation. Its latest revelation, the Move to Zero initiative, centers sustainability with new models such as the Space Hippie family as well as classics like the Nike SB Dunk Low.
The upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low “Crater” recycles a handful of materials as the Swoosh continues to deliver on its promise towards less waste. The “Crater” features recycled canvas, polyester, and rubber.
It also includes Nike’s Grind rubber on the midsole and outsole in addition to a Zoom Air unit made with reused TPU.
And this is something that we’ve talked about before in market recaps: environmentally-friendly sneakers.
We’ve seen it with companies like Adidas and Parley, and now with Nike. These brands are initiating the future of the sneaker game while making such a positive impact on the world.
I 100% think this is something that we will only see more and more with Nike and Adidas. Of course, other brands will contribute if not already. Not only are the sneakers that they are putting out nice and high quality, but people will definitely be attracted to shoes that are helping to save our planet.
In terms of resale for these earth-saving soles, we’ve seen some pretty great numbers. With over 90 sales on the StockX platform alone, the Nike SB Dunk Low Crater has racked up a price premium of 71% and an average resale price of $203.
With a retail price of $100, this sneaker would bring in a nice profit for any reseller!
Next up, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Natural,
First teased in May, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Natural” finally launched on, October 24th.
While not a complete departure from palettes to grace other Yeezy proposals, the upcoming arrangement delivers more depth than previous off-white styles.
The diagonal Primeknit pattern and its various shades fall in line with some of the Yeezy 350s most lauded colorways and even resemble an inverted take on the “Ash Pearl” option expected in March 2021.
Further adding character to the simple color scheme, the semi-translucent profile stripe reveals cream-like shades, which match the yellowed sole unit underfoot.
As with most recent takes on the low-top silhouette, tomorrow’s pair forgoes any pull tab at the heel.
With yet another Yeezy 350, Kanye is definitely focused on his campaign run rather than new models. I think I speak with most of the sneaker community when I say that we want new models!!
Yeezy is definitely up there with the top sneaker brands and I think if they really want to extend their lead, they need to innovate in other areas, past colorways. And I do have hope that Yeezy will expand and continue to push sneakers past where people have ever thought they could go.
In terms of resale for the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Natural, we’ve seen some minimal numbers. With over 210 sales on the StockX platform alone, the sneaker has racked up a price premium of 21.2% and an average resale price of $282.
With a $220 retail, there isn’t room for a ton of profit with this sneaker.
Finally, the Jordan 12 Retro Black Dark Concord,
An Air Jordan 12 “Dark Concord” aka “Black Concord” is slated to debut for Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2020 collection.
This variation incorporates a two-tone color scheme of Black and Dark Concord overall.
Composed of genuine black suede uppers, the model is detailed with an OG faux lizard-print mudguard, alongside chrome finished eyelets and a woven label.
Dressed in a Black and Dark Concord color scheme. This Air Jordan 12 features a Black upper with Purple contrasting accents throughout, white branding, atop a Black rubber sole.
This is more of a routine sneaker release, something resellers should keep on their weekly radar. In terms of resale for the Jordan 12 Retro Black Dark Concord, we’ve seen some minimal numbers.
With over 260 sales on the StockX platform alone, the Jordan 12 Retro Black Dark Concord has racked up a price premium of 15.3% and an average resale price of $232.
Even if you did take a small loss this week, at least you learned that specific sneakers don’t do well on the market. You’ll be able to easily tell what sneakers will be profitable in the future. This information is so so so valuable.
