To give you a better idea of the sneaker resale market and its trends, we are debuting weekly recap articles.

Let us know what you think!

We’ll begin this weekly market recap by taking a look at some of the hottest kicks that dropped this week!

First up, the Nike Dunk Low Community Garden

Nike added a psychedelic new look to the Dunk Low catalog with the unique Nike Dunk Low Community Garden.

Also known as the Nike Dunk Lemon Wash, this colorway follows a similar theme that the Nike Space Hippie collection is known for.

The Nike Dunk Low Community Garden features a dyed and printed patchworked canvas upper with hits of red, teal, and gold on the toe box, Swoosh, and heel tab. The design’s patchwork graphics are applied in a random pattern so that each pair appears as a one-of-one.

While a loud colorway at its core, the pair is arguably more interesting for its materials: a set that is not only bold in its dye but also sustainable as it recycles various swatches of the canvas.

This is why most of the panels are unique to the ones adjacent as the blue, dark purple, and lilac shades are textured with distinct nep; the shapes printed above, however, do seem to be applied towards the end of production as the same reticles and circles are scattered throughout, while lesser-used florals, lines, and the like stand unique to their respective sections.

A white midsole and Grind Rubber outsole, which is primarily featured in the Space Hippie collection, add the finishing touches.

These sneakers released on September 10th and retailed for $100.

In terms of resale for this pair, the numbers were astronomical!

With over 150 sales on the StockX Marketplace Platform, the Nike Dunk Low Community Garden has totaled a price premium of 330.4%!!

This leaves an average resale price of $445. If you were able to cop a pair you’d be in fora $300+ profit!!

Next up, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Pepper Reflective

This offering of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 will release in a reflective and non-reflective versions. The shoe features a sock-like Primeknit upper in a blend of Grey and Light Blue tones.

Its signature translucent monofilament window comes in a contrasting Brown finish with perforated detailing for breathability. A full-length Boost semi-translucent midsole atop a rubber outsole completes the design.

Much like the 350 v2’s many two-part standouts, the colorway effectively uses the same base and provides the option for reflective threads. These accents are seemingly embedded into the entire weave, calling more attention to the knit’s grey detailing instead of the brown that dresses adjacent.

Darker hits of more robust synthetic then outfit the side as per usual, complementing the shade of the tread but the midsole whose see-through exterior is layered underneath with a dark grey.

For the non-reflective variant, everything is essentially the same, the palette further expanding through adults, kids, and infants sizes.

These sneakers released on September 11th and released with a retail price tag of $250, the usual number for the 380 models.

With a measly 6 sales on the StockX Marketplace, the

Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Pepper Reflective racked up a price premium of 33.6% leaving an average resale price of $327, not bad with a $250 retail.

Finally, the Jordan 5 Retro SE Oregon

Long before the most prominent athletes in the world donned the Swoosh, Nike’s focus was giving the University of Oregon athletes a competitive advantage with revolutionary products. Jordan Brand paid homage to the Ducks with the release of the Jordan 5 Oregon, now available on StockX.

The Jordan 5 Retro SE Oregon colorway draws inspiration from a Jordan 5 PE that was gifted to Oregon student-athletes in 2014. The sneaker’s upper is smothered in Apple Green Durabuck with hits of yellow and black.

Unlike the PE version, Oregon branding is replaced with traditional Jumpman on the tongue and a Team Jordan tag heel, similar to last year’s Jordan 5 Michigan release.

A black midsole and icy translucent outsole complete this collegiate masterpiece.

In terms of resale for the Jordan 5 Retro SE Oregon, we’ve seen some good numbers so far. With 334 sales on the StockX Marketplace, the sneaker has racked up a 23.6% and average resale value of $298.

With a retail price of $225, $398 is not a bad payday for those of you who were able to purchase a pair.

This week’s overview:

This week we had yet another 100% profitable week. With the Nike Dunk Low Community Garden we saw about a $300 net profit.

Next we had the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Pepper Reflective. Only 6 sales on the StockX platform goes to show that maybe the Yeezy hype is actually dying.

After releasing the same models with so many different colorways, people are finally starting to get bored of the same thing.

And finally, we had the Jordan 5 Retro SE Oregon. These sneakers come with a $120+ profit margin.

This was another week for resellers that if you copped anything you most likely made some profit!
