Before we see how profitable these kicks are on the secondary market, let me walk you through a bit of history.

Bloodline 2.0 Jordan 1 | Background

The Air Jordan 1 dropped in 1985 and was designed specifically for the man himself, Michael Jordan.

The consensus catalyst for sneaker culture, the AJ1, is still probably one of the most sought-after sneakers to date, almost always selling out whenever a new colorway releases.

These kicks are also profitable on the secondary market with retro colorways selling out multiple times their resale prices.

The Bloodline 2.0 Jordan 1 pays tribute to the Chicago Bulls and nods at the advert from back in the ‘80s.

This Jordan Brand advert starts off with MJ kicking the ball to his hands and dribbling across the court in his Chicago Air Jordan 1s then jumping towards the hoop in slow motion, creating his signature ‘Jump-Man’ pose that’s embossed onto every Air Jordan 1.

The advert closes with Jordan Brand’s logo and the narrator saying “Who says man was not meant to fly”.

The Air Jordan 1 Bloodline was released back in 2019 and the 2.0 variant is yet to be given a release date.

Side panels are expected to have red outlined black leather Swooshes while white midsoles, white throats, and black outsoles complete the design. A typical ‘Chicago’ colorway.

Fake vs Real

Real vs Fake Jordan Wings Logo

There are quite a lot of fakes of the Bloodline 1.0 and there will most likely be fakes of the Bloodline 2.0 as well. Here’s how to spot them:

  • The hue of the red on the sneaker. Fakes usually get the red wrong so be on the look out and compare with an original pair.
  • An hour glass shape from the rear view (like with any other Air Jordan 1 High).
  • Equidistant stitching on the on the upper, especially on the Swooshes.
  • Check the letters on the branding as they should come in a thinner font than on fakes.
  • The “R” and “D” on the “Jordan” branding should be connected. This has been fixed by most fake manufacturers but it still happens quite frequently.
