The “nightmare on elm street” inspired Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger is one of a kind. Before we estimate how much money it will make resellers, let me walk you through some history!
Nike Air Max 95| History
As I’ve said before, Nike Air Max sneakers are one of the most iconic in history. Transcending what they were intended for as performance sneakers and becoming a staple within the fashion realm. Let me briefly walk you through Nike Air Max’s story.
Tinker Hatfield was the mastermind behind the Nike Air Max. He was also responsible for sneakers such as the Air Jordan 1 and is considered a legend when it comes to sneaker designer.
He was merely a corporate architect for Nike. However, after being inspired by other Nike sneakers, he decided to design one of his own.
The Nike Air Max had an exposed Air unit which is one of the most ambitious design changes in any sneaker. He was told it was a bad idea but he followed his gut and created one of the most famous sneakers ever.
Then in 1995 came the Nike Air Max 95. They introduced two separate Air Units in the midsole and were the first to feature visible air in the forefoot. Various retro colorways have been introduced including exciting new ones.
The Freddy Krueger Air Max 95 is perhaps one of the most exciting colorways yet.

This Halloween themed sneaker releases just in time in 2 days with a “slimy” design pattern. A black and purple upper is contrasted by a dull green pattern with spilling effects near the rear.
The midsole features a fully exposed air unit while a matching slime green outsole completes the design. A small crimson ‘Swoosh’ on the forefoot is also featured on each sneaker.
On StockX, the average selling price is $255 which is a gross profit of $75 per pair. At peak resale prices, gross profits are as high as $440. The Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger edition will likely have much higher profits.
Nike Air Max 95 Halloween (2014)

These sneakers released back in Halloween of 2014, feature relatively subtle colors. Although some might argue that this sneaker doesn’t fit the theme it was intended for. They’re pretty high in demand.
Featuring a multi-colored and multi-material upper. These sneakers give off a sort of deconstructed vibe. A light grey midsole and green outsole finish off the design.
The average selling price on the reseller’s market is around $340 per pair. Meanwhile, at peak resale prices, gross profits are as high as $250 per pair. I expect the Nike Air Max 95, Freddy Krueger, to resell for even higher.
Nike SB Dunk Low Freddy Krueger

Although this sneaker was discontinued long ago, some sneakers actually made it into the hands of some. This may not be a good reference sneaker because of that fact, however, it’s still a very interesting shoe to talk about!
These kicks feature an upper that is textured and colored to match Freddy Krueger’s signature sweater. Suede overlay stained with what looks to be blood adds another gory detail to these sneakers. An off-white midsole and dark outsole completes the design.
On StockX, they’ve only been sold twice but both at whopping price tags of $10,000 and $15,000. Those are incredibly high potential profits. This may also be a hint that the Nike Air Max 95 Freddy Krueger will sell for very high resale prices.

This Nike Air Max 95 comes dressed in a velvet brown, university red, and team red colorway. Constructed with a combination of mesh and canvas, these kicks are designed in a way to mimic Freddy Krueger’s signature sweater.
The sneakers also feature suede toe caps, checkered tongue, and metallic silver overlay speckled with red to represent Freddy’s favorite razor gloves. The insoles too nod at the character with bloody Swooshed insoles.
