New Balance has been on a tear so far in 2020 and they can largely owe the to the crazy collaborations they’ve had so far. The Concept x New Balance and Jaden Smith x New Balance are a few that come to mind.

Due to distinct story-telling and limited distribution channels, resale for them is also great.

Before we go into details for the new Casablanca New Balance 327 Black and Green Logo. Let me walk you through some history.

Although Millennials refer to these as “Dad shoes”. There’s no questioning the quality and comfort of a new balance sneaker.

Since William J. Riley founded the company, performance sneakers were designed specifically for athletes. The latest 327 sneaker is inspired by 3 classic  New Balance silhouettes.

The first New Balance sneaker to carry the “N” logo was the 320 in 1976. After being featured in the NYC marathon, the sneaker gained a respectable following among elite athletes.

The New Balance 355 released in 1977 with a rugged out-sole. This out-sole gave athletes incredible traction and performance.

Also in 1977, New Balance released the SuperComp. These were fusions of the 355 and 350, featuring a versatile upper and wrapped fore foots.

Then in 2020, New Balance unveiled its latest sneaker, the 327 that combines the best features from all these 3 classic New Balance sneakers.

From the over-sized “N” logo to the rugged out-sole that extends all the way to the heel. These kicks give off that classic 70s vibe. The Casablanca New Balance 327 Green Logo and Black Logo are the latest colorways for this popular new silhouette.

Casablanca & New Balance

Casablanca is a Parisian men’s-wear brand, founded by French-Moroccan, Charaf Tajer. Their clothing line is fairly recent however, the unique narrative driven fashion and exotic Moroccan vibes have captured the hearts of many.

33 year-old Tajer was an architect but fell in love with designing menswear clothing and apparel. He created Casablanca to be “a French brand with a souvenir of Morocco,” as he describes it.

Though labelled as Casablanca Tennis Club, the French-Moroccan refuses to call it a sportswear brand. “I think streetwear is the time we are in. . . . I think this is a big frame that we are in, but I would say that Casablanca is a menswear brand,” He says in an interview with Vogue.

Casablanca’s recent collaboration with New Balance in April was a huge success. They released two colorways of New Balance’s latest 327 silhouette and it sold out instantly.

On the resale markets, the two sneakers have been selling for very high prices, earning resellers hundreds of dollars in profits.

Before we estimate resale value for the Casablanca New Balance 327 Black and Green Logo. Let’s head on over to StockX.

The Concept New Balance 327 Cape is also a hit collaboration that dropped just last month. This Cranberry Vodka inspired sneaker pays homage to Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

Sporting a vibrant red upper with an oversize “N”, this is the ideal summer sneaker. A white EVA-Cushioned mid-sole and ice blue studded out-sole finishes off the design.

On StockX, the average selling price is $200 which is an average gross profit of $60. At peak resale prices, gross profits are as high as $210 per pair. I believe the two new Casablanca New Balance 327 sneakers will have much higher profits.

Revealed first at Casablanca’s Paris fashion show, these sneakers are perhaps New Balance’s most exciting sneakers this year. These 327 sneakers take inspiration from tennis clubs which is hinted at by the pair’s luxurious yet sporty feel.

This time, the Casablanca New Balance 327 Black Logo/ White Logo feature much subtler colors. The Black Logo, hence the name, features a jet black “N” logo with a white polka dotted upper and white sued overlay. A white mid-sole and black studded out-sole completes the design.

The Casablanca New Balance 327 Green Logo features a white polka dotted upper with sail sued overlay. A sail “N” logo highlighted by a forest green material provides contrast. A white mid-sole and sail out-sole completes the design.

Resale Value

The last collaboration between the two companies was highly lucrative and I expect the same for the latest two colorways.

To get your money back on StockX, you’ll need to sell for at least $180. Thus by using my estimated resell value, you can expect profits of over $120 per pair. If you can manage to hold on to them, prices tend to rise over time which means higher profits.

Selling on eBay can earn you even higher prices due to the service fee waiver of products costing over $100.

Casablanca New Balance 327 Where to Buy

You can buy the Casablanca New Balance 327 Black/Green Logo at select retailers and Casablanca Paris. You will however, need a bot or multiple accounts as copping a pair will be difficult. This collaboration is highly anticipated and is expected to sell out fast.

You can also buy on through reseller websites such as StockX today.
