On November 11th Nike is releasing the Nike Sb Dunk Low Pro “Atmos Elephant” for an expected retail price of $100-$120. If the name sounds familiar to you, it’s because of the Nike Air Max 1 “Atmos Elephant” which released originally in 2007 and then had a re-release in 2017.

Nike Air Max 1 Atmos Elephant (2007)

Release Date: January/01/2007

Retail Price: (Unavailable)

Current Resale Price: $856

The Nike Air Max 1 Atmos Elephant is probably the most sought after sneakers from 2007. The sneaker was the offspring of the creative minds at the Japanese based retailed Atmos and is still on top of most sneakerheads purchase list thanks to a limited number of production.

One of the reasons why this sneaker is particularly beloved is because its design is considered much more “wearable” than other Air Max designs of the era, thus it gave it a broader market than that just of sneakerheads at the time.

Officially, the colorway was “Black/Clear Jade-White” but the Swoosh on the laterals of the sneaker is very close to “Tiffany” blue in color. Looking at the mudguard, The Elephant Print had rarely ever been seen on the Air Max 1 prior to this sneaker’s release but the reason why this sneaker stays at the top of wish lists is that the shape of the mudguard is more true to the original Air Max 1 than any of the retro releases.

Release Date: March/18/2007

Retail Price: $150

Current Resale Price: $978

The re-release of the above mentioned 2007 Nike Air Max 1 Atmos Elephant doesn’t deviate at all from its predecessor. And I guess Nike truly believes in the philosophy of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Albeit, the re-release wasn’t as profitable as the original in terms of the number of sales, but it still racked up a whole lot of profits in the reselling community as can be seen from the resale price of $978.

Nike SB Dunk Low Atmos Elephant – Details

Now back to the star of the article. November 11th is the release date for the collaboration of Atmos x Nike in the shape of the Nike SB Dunk Low Atmos Elephant. It seems that both the companies are trying to revitalize their partnership once again in the form of an SB release. The most popular Air Max 1 colorway with the most popular Nike silhouette, doesn’t sound like a bad idea from a marketing and revenue perspective.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Atmos Elephant features a grey elephant print on the upper. The resemblance with its predecessor is uncanny with the black suede, a white leather vamp, and a patent leather jade Swoosh and branding.

Nike SB Dunk Low Atmos Elephant – Resale Price

So what amount is the Nike SB Dunk Low Atmos Elephant going to go on resale for? Well, the peak resale so far has been $1300! But that’s not what you can expect to resell them for at all!

Both the Ask and Bid prices on StockX, are in the region of $500-$550. We expect the retail price to be in the middle of both of these prices and don’t expect much volatility.

Therefore, the resale price of the Nike SB Dunk Low Atmos Elephant is $500-$550.
