First up, the Nike SB Dunk High Concepts Turdunken (Special Box),
So what the heck even is Turducken? Well, it’s a recipe where a chicken that is stuffed into a boneless duck is stuffed into a turkey.
That’s a lot of white meat… but it’s an SB Dunk so we’re not gonna complain about the name too much.
Concepts is a footwear and apparel boutique based out of Boston which is predominantly known for its sneaker collaborations. One of their most popular collaborations was with Nike SB, where the duo released the Lobster SB Dunk Low series.
The Turdunken has a thanksgiving vibe to it but you already may have figured that out with the features of a mallard duck, iridescent colors, feather-like textures, and an orange sole. The sneaker has a light blue swoosh on the laterals with the tongue featuring the “Nike Dunk Pro” label on it.
Of course with Thanksgiving in a couple of days, this sneaker released at the perfect time (although we’re pretty sure this isn’t a coincidence!)
The sneaker released on November 21st and the sneaker we will be analyzing is the special box pair. The reason for this is to show you, readers, how valuable the special box pair is.
Sneakers often release in two different ways, one of which contains a specially designed box that usually includes some sort of merchandise/collectibles.
In terms of resale for this sneaker, we saw some really great numbers. With 90+ sales on StockX alone, the Turdunken has racked up a price premium of 366.7% and an average resale price of $631.
Next up, the Jordan 3 Retro Black Court Purple,
Featuring black tumbled leather uppers with Court Purple detailing on the midsole, eyelets, and ankle — the Jumpman logo on the tongue, in particular, is colored in purple and outlined with orange.
Finally black and grey elephant print adorn the toe and heel, while a white midsole, and grey rubber outsole tops it off.
The majority of the upper is covered in a premium genuine leather that is accented by a lux court purple which appears sparingly at the rear midsole, collars, and Jump-Man logos. Speaking of which, the Jump-Man appears on the tongue and as a 3-D Jump-Man at the rear that sits atop an orange “AIR” branding.
The insoles are also a blazing orange while the classic elephant prints appear on the toe regions and at the rear. A white midsole and a grey outsole with purple/orange hits finish off the design.
The Jordan 3 has been monumental Jordan and of course, made famous by Jordan in 1988 when Jordan made his free throw dunk wearing the 3’s.
It should come as no surprise that these sneakers are easy to match with and are very durable when it comes to this time of the year.
In terms of resale – we saw the numbers that were expected of a Jordan 3 release in 2020. With 150+ sales on the StockX platform alone, the Jordan 3 Retro Black Court Purple bears a 15.8% price premium and an average resale price of $236. Not great numbers, but these are definitely a personal pair!
Finally, the Nike Air Fear Of God 1 String Off-Noir,
This description won’t be super long because we have 0 sales so far for the sneaker!
Other than the resell market, the Air Fear of God 1 has been a new fashion staple and definitely an eye-catcher.
These sneakers did release through Instagram, which is something we’ve seen more and more of. As social media continues to become an integral part of people’s daily lives, it’s only right that sneakers begin releasing on social media.
Definitely keep up to date through Twitter and Instagram if you want first info on the newest pairs!
With the current ask being $3,000+ these sneakers are definitely going to be a huge profit once pairs start hitting the market. You can look out for these on eBay or Instagram for some first market buys.
