First up, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Grinch (2020),

Nike opened a new chapter at the end of 2020 and refreshed the Kobe 6 design with the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Grinch. The Kobe 6 Grinch originally debuted in 2011 when Kobe Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers faced LeBron James’ Miami Heat in a legendary match up on Christmas Day.

This is the first Kobe 6 to receive the Kobe Protro treatment, a design process that takes classic Kobe designs and updates them with modern tech for improved performance.

At a first glance, the Nike Kobe 6 Grinch looks identically like the OG pair from 2011: it features a Green Apple and Volt textured, snake-inspired upper as a tribute to Kobe’s Black Mamba moniker.

A black Swoosh, red Kobe branding on the tongue, and green translucent outsole accentuate the shoe’s reptile theme.

But, because this is a Protro, there are some differences. The updated Kobe 6 Grinch arrives with a more responsive Zoom Air cushioning system and scaled-down traction for an improved court feel. The silhouette shape is even altered to provide a lower, sleeker fit.

With Christmas and of course, people wanting to commemorate Kobe, this sneaker was a hit on the resell market. In terms of resale, the sneaker has racked up over 490 sales on the StockX Marketplace, with a price premium of 115.8% and an average resale price of $409.

Next up, the Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown,

Yeezy returned to the Earth-toned palette with the Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown. The Clay Brown slightly resembles the Alvah with its primarily black look.

But instead of a completely muted upper, it dons lighter earth tones, adding contrast throughout the silhouette.

The Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown features a black engineered mesh upper with light brown streaks running along the side encompassed by a signature translucent cage unit.

A thick EVA foam midsole, reinforced toe cap, and 3M detailing on the forefoot complete this futuristic look.

I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it: Yeezy please do something new!

We are tired of seeing the same thing over and over and over and over again Kanye!
Now, in terms of resale for the Adidas yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown, we’ve seen expected numbers.

With over 180 sales on the StockX Marketplace, the sneaker has racked up a price premium of 32% and an average resale price of $264.

Next up, the Jordan 12 Retro Reverse Flu Game:

Jordan Brand returned to its Chicago roots and flipped the iconic Flu Game colorway with the Jordan 12 Reverse Flu Game.

Also known as the Jordan 12 Varsity Red, the Reverse Fly Game provides all of the vintage Chicago Bulls vibes just in time for the start of the NBA season.

The upper of the Jordan 12 Varsity Red is composed of red suede and a black faux lizard-print mudguard. A Jumpman logo and “TWO 3” embroidery is located on the tongue.

A woven label heel tab, matte black chrome finish eyelets, and a black and red sole finalize this remix of a classic.

The Jordan 12 isn’t the hottest model and therfore doesn’t resell a ton. With over 280 sales on the StockX Marketplace alone, the sneaker has racked up a price premium of just 13.2% and an average resale price of $236.

Not a hugely profitable sneaker, but you should be able to break even if you play your cards right. But that’s what’s so valuable about this information is you can learn and take mental notes about what sneakers are profitable. What colorways, models, brands are making waves in the resell game.

Half of the resell market is selling the sneakers, the other is knowing what sneakers to buy. This is vital information for any reseller.

Even if you did take a small loss this week, at least you learned that specific sneakers don’t do well on the market. You’ll be able to easily tell what sneakers will be profitable in the future. This information is so so so valuable.
