First up, the Jordan 1 Retro High J Balvin,

During the halftime performance at Super Bowl LIV, Latin sensation J Balvin unveiled a pair of signature tie-dye Jordan 1s that the world had never seen before.

Then, in December of 2020, J Balvin and Jordan Brand got psychedelic and released the Air Jordan 1 High J Balvin.

The Air Jordan 1 High J Balvin features a layered tie-dye canvas upper with designed jagged edges to expose solid black leather patches.

Exposed foam tongues give off a vintage feel to the shoe, while velcro patches on the heel depicting Jordan and J Balvin insignia’s provide wearers with the freedom to customize their pair – something I personally feel will be big in 2021, more about that later.

A light pink sole and J Balvin’s smiley face logo on the tongue and insole add the finishing touches to the Jordan 1.

The reason I think personalized shoes will blow up is that everybody wants to feel like their pair is different, more special, than everyone else’s. Being able to customize your shoe, which we have seen from Nike ID and Adidas, is something I think will ramp up.

People are always finding new ways to be creative, and I see shoes as the perfect canvas.

Now, in terms of the resell for the Jordan 1 Retro High J Balvin, we’ve seen some great numbers. With 375+ sales on StockX alone, the sneaker has racked up a price premium of 172.% and an average resale price of $580. With a retail of $190, this is not a bad profit for any reseller.

Next up, the Jordan 11 Retro Jubilee 25th Anniversary,

In 2020, Jordan Brand celebrated 25 years of one of their most popular models, the Jordan 11. To commemorate the famed silhouette, Michael Jordan and Nike released the Jordan 11 Jubilee.

The sneaker’s distinct colorway was inspired by original sketches from the designer of the 1995 sneaker, Tinker Hatfield.

The Jordan 11 Jubilee showcases everything Hatfield envisioned for the sneaker 25 years ago; a performance product that can be worn easily both on and off the court. Features such as the two types of leather on the upper with hits of metallic lettering and Jumpman emblem add elements to the aesthetic and famous Jordan 11 sneaker.

A white midsole and foggy translucent outside deliver contrast to the black sneaker. Carbon fiber plating on the sole provides stability and power to the wearer’s feet on the basketball court.

In terms of resale for this iconic rendition of the Jordan 11, we’ve seen some okay numbers. With 2300+ sales on the StockX platform alone, the Jordan 11 Retro Jubilee 25th Anniversary has racked up a price premium of 24.1% and an average resale price of $287.

Finally, the Nike Dunk High Ambush Black White,

Tokyo-based fashion label AMBUSH teamed up with Nike to add an abstract twist to the Dunk High silhouette with the Nike Dunk High Ambush Black.

This collaboration draws its inspiration from Japanese bike, car, and truck culture, which explains the re-imagined proportions on the silhouette that almost make it look aerodynamic.

Features like the extended Swoosh and prominent heel counter nod to the extended tailpipes and lifted rear chassis of motorcycles and trucks.

The Nike Dunk High Ambush black arrives with a white and black leather upper in traditional colors blocking (design format similar to early Nike Dunk releases) and an exaggerated Swoosh that extends beyond the heel.

Outside of the re-imagined Swoosh, other featured differentiate this design from traditional Nike Dunks like a raised heel counter with significant separation on the back of the shoe, revealing a larger amount of white leather paneling, and an extended black plastic unit donning Ambush branding is located on the heel.

An exposed foam tongue, white sole, and co-branded tongue tag complete the design.

In terms of sales for the Nike Dunk High Ambush Black White, we’ve seen some good numbers. With 125+ sales on the StockX market alone, the sneaker has racked up a price premium of 163.4% and an average resale of $444.
