Recap from Week 12

The Aerial motif dominated last Thursday. The first items to go were the Tapestry Jeans, Harrington Jacket, Skate Deck, and Crewneck. Let’s not forget about the Timblerand Boot Collab that sold out almost instantly! I was lucky enough to cop the crewneck in the burgundy colorway, did you guys get lucky on anything?

Check out the last droplist here. Without further ado let’s go over the more popular items heading into this week.

Collaborations

Supreme is back with one of its more popular friends – Stone Island. This time around the partners have put together an expansive cold-weather ready range featuring hand-painted Shearling, dyed textiles and thick-ribbed corduroy. Leading the collaboration is an array of outerwear options led by the hand-painted Hooded Shearling Jacket coming in black and white, water and wind-resistant painted camo Crinkle Down Jacket and a tonal Corduroy Jacket style.

Additionally there’s the Shortsleeve Top, Cargo Pants, Nylon Shoulder Bag and Nylon 6-Panel, along with the cotton corduroy Pants and Crusher. Finishing the collection is the Warp Stripe Hooded Sweatshirt and Sweatshort with a custom dye treatment. We also see accessories like the Glow-in-the-Dark Balaclava and Baruffaldi Rek Goggles.

Overall let’s focus on sizes small or extra large. For items try for the Balaclava, Shortsleeve Shirt, Warp Stripe Hooded Sweatshirt, and Crinkle Down Jacket. Retail prices should be around $190, $135, $330, and $850 respectively. Tough to judge resale but best believe these 4 pieces are your best best in the whole capsule. Photo below of the collection.

                      Conclusion

From a personal standpoint, I’m a bit disappointed with this collab. It seemed to be hyped to no end and maybe that was my own fault! Everyone knows the Italian label usually boasts a lofty price tag but I believe myself along with others expected a bit more. Its has come to our attention that the US will not be seeing “confirmed” retail prices but our guesses should be on track. Don’t be shocked if some of these Stone Island pieces are in the 4 figure range.

After the drop, always see if you can find or make sales on platforms like Grailed, Ebay, Reddit or Instagram. This way, the buyer and seller can get the most out of the sale and not succumb to fees. I’ve had good luck lately on Reddit and Instagram surprisingly. And here’s my last tip – use StockX for bigger items like skate decks where the company pays for shipping.

Try peer to peer platforms for small items that don’t require a big shipping cost when you have to pay for it yourself.
