It’s important to understand that every sneaker is different. Different sizes may be more profitable depending on the release. This is a general guide so you can understand how important the sizing is.

Sizes 8 – 12

Right away it is important to understand that sizes 8-12 will most often not lead to the most profit.

Instead, they are on this list because they are the most sought after. The majority of sneakers resellers, and people for that matter, fall into the sneaker sizes of 8-12.

If, for example, you have 10 pairs of shoes that are sized between 8 and 12, the chances of you being able to move those pairs quickly are much, much higher.

Sizes 4 – 7.5

Now we’re getting into sizes are have less demand, but also less stock upfront.

Smaller sizes are obviously less common, so sneaker companies like Nike and Adidas don’t produce as many, to begin with. The basic rule of economics, less supply = more demand and more demand = higher prices.

To show you an example of this, we’ll take a look at the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Yeezreel (Non-Reflective). This sneaker retailed for $220 and has an average resale price of $290, not a bad profit.

But take a look at this table below, and see the prices highlighted in red. You’ll notice that they are significantly higher than the general sizes.

Sizes 6 and 6.5 almost hit $100 over what generally sized pairs go for. This is super important information as a reseller because that’s hundreds of dollars in missed profit if you don’t understand this.

Sizes 13+

This is a similar concept to the smaller sizes, but again retailers make less quantity in less worn sizes.

This time, we are going to take a look at the Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent Bred.

The reason we chose this sneaker is that Jordan 1’s are actually pretty popular for people with larger foot sizing. This is important to know because there will be more demand for the bigger sizes.

Taking a look at the table here, you’ll notice that the sizes from 12.5 and up yield around $500, while the general sizes, 9.5 – 10.5, yield about $400.

It’s still very important to understand that sizes like 16 are not going to be selling every day. Investing in really small or really large sizes is a long-term investment that may not see a buyer for months.

You have to be in it to win it, and stick it through if you want to see the kinds of returns that these special sizes can get you.

This brings us to the conclusion of this article. As far as the best sizes for reselling? There isn’t one.

If you want to move pairs fast and don’t mind selling for lower, go for 8-12. If you want to make as much as possible and don’t mind holding on to pairs, go for special sizes.
